Measuring method

If you would prefer not to download the tool, you can measure with a string or ribbon to determine your bracelet size. We strongly advise that you measure the size of your wrist rather than the size of another bracelet.

  1. Using a length of string or ribbon, wrap it around the base of your wrist. To ensure a comfortable bracelet fit, we recommend measuring the thickest part of the wrist, usually the wrist joint, not on the bone.
  1. With a pen, mark the point on the string where the end meets.
  1. Measure the string in inches with a ruler.
  1. Narrow-Gauge Designs recommends adding .25" for a custom fit and for any minimalist bracelets. Add .50" for a loose fit.

2025 - San Juan County Historical Society

The San Juan County Historical Society and Silverton, Colorado is especially meaningful to me as one of the first mining regions I was ever introduced to - my parents worked in the mine here in the 1970s. The ghost town of Animas Forks, in particular, left a lasting impression from my very first visit and continues to be a place I return to with my family, including visits to my parents’ friends who still live in the town. It is an incredibly special place - rich in history, memory, and quiet inspiration that continues to shape my work.

2025 - Paso Robles Historical Society

My first contribution was to the Paso Robles Historical Society in my hometown of Paso Robles, California. Their headquarters is located in the historic Carnegie Library in the heart of downtown - a place that has long been a quiet landmark in my life. From childhood visits and library readings in the basement, to returning every year with my own children to explore the museum it now holds, this building has remained a constant thread through different seasons of my life. While the town itself is meaningful to me, the Carnegie Library has always stood out as a space of quiet beauty and inspiration, likely shaping my appreciation for history and detail long before I realized it. It felt only right that this would be the first place I chose to support.
