"It took almost a decade into my business to realize my purpose — and once I did, everything clicked."

I'm incredibly honored to be featured in Bold Journey Magazine under their “Finding Your Why” series. This interview dives into how I finally discovered the deeper meaning behind what I do — and how it all ties back to cobweb windows, ghost towns, and the beautiful grit of old saloons.

As someone who has always felt a little different, this article gave me space to reflect on the creative path that led me to Narrow-Gauge Designs — and how I'm still learning, growing, and dreaming up what's next.

🔍 A few highlights from the interview:

On discovering my purpose:

“I was standing in front of a cobweb window at the Winchester Mystery House when it hit me. I couldn’t take the window home, so of course, I had to design something inspired by it.”

On the heart of my jewelry:

“I want my pieces to feel like that brass kick plate on a bar — refined and elegant, but worn in and weathered. They should feel like they’ve seen stories.”

On what’s ahead:

“I’ve paused custom orders (just for now!) so I can focus on a new collection that feels like the most me work I’ve ever done. It’s a mix of rustic and refined — lived-in elegance, with echoes of the past.”

This is one of the most personal and meaningful interviews I’ve done, and I’m so grateful for everyone who has supported me along the way — my family, longtime customers, and new friends who just get it. 💛
