✨ How were you first introduced to Narrow-Gauge Designs? (NGD) What initially attracted you to the jewelry? Was it the design? Materials? Story?
“Loving your personality as a friend and wanting to support you when you had a booth at a local artist event. Little did I know I’d love your jewelry! Your attention to high-quality detail and the delicate nature of the design made me pick something I could wear everyday and love! “
✨ Do you have a favorite piece of NGD jewelry? Was it from a collection or was it a custom design?
“ I love my piece – simple and goes with everything. A bracelet is literally the only piece of jewelry I can wear all the time. “
✨ Jewelry is a creative outlet for me. Do you have a creative outlet or is your job your passion?
“ I am a retired ballerina, so my hobbies include movement, exercise, yoga, and dance! My mom is a visual and craftsman artist, and for me, it was always the use of my body.
But my career passion nowadays is helping midlife women feel better with functional diagnostic nutrition. I have a background in Chinese medicine and am knowledgeable in nutraceuticals and herbal medicine. I also work for a science best health tech company called Thorne, supporting other practitioners to grow their practice. “
✨ Where does NGD jewelry accompany you? Activities? Special occasions? Work? Exciting travel locales?
“ Everywhere. I wish more exciting travels, someday. For now they travel with me to all of my daughter’s dance performances and competitions. I do hope to own other NG pieces I’ll use for specific nights out, but I love having functional everyday pieces the most. “
✨ If you could step back in time to any decade or era, which would you choose? Why?
“ Ooohhh…tough one. I had this conversation with my daughter recently. I’d love to sit in on Henry VIII’s court before he went “mad.” I’d love to meet Anne Boylen and her daughter, Elizabeth, who became Queen of England. Taste the food, watch how Henry behaved and enjoy the music and dancing. “
